Indoor dogs tend to
get lazy as they age, and we all want our love ones
to stay active, and healthy right? Just like kids
they will lose interest in going outside just to run
around. you need to get them balls to fetch, and toys
to tug, ex. and please play with them, just like handing
a baby a toy they well lose interest fast if your
not playing with them. but what about those hot days,
where no one wants to go outside?
Well what i do on
these days is set up one of the small hard plastic
blue pools. get some doggie treats and put them on
a plate, and have a POOL PARTY! As i fill up the pool
the dogs all go into high alert! they know whats happening,
they start running up to me and away, so i take the
hose and try to squirt them, and they bark and jump
just like kids, then when im done they all jump in,
i set a snack tray out and go in the house and they
are entertained for hours!

As far as combing
and grooming go, I am not a professional, as you can see on my
site. just look at the teddy bear dams and sire.
But what i do
know, with the teddy bear and shichon breeds they don't shed so
you need to comb them almost daily or they matt. also they hate
that wire brush! just get a few plastic black combs. they like
those.
make sure you bath them weekly use a good oatmeal bath, don't
use cheep stuff you don't want to dry out there hair.
make sure you
brush there teeth, clip there nails, and pull the hair out of
there ears. all this stuff can be bought at petco or walmart.
the teddy bear
breed and the shichon both grow there hair back all the time,
so if you give them a bad cut don't stress, it'll grow back, and
it will get better. Let them smell the stuff your using, and ok
it, talk to them and pet them, take it slowly and make it an enjoyable
experience.
you ll notice
after they are done they'll prance around and showoff to the other
dogs.

it dose have some great pointers.
you can always
send them to a stranger and they would look better. but i find
it more comfortable and rewarding on both sides to try yourself,
plus you save tons of money.

The
Adoption Process
Due to the fact we only have a few house held indoor pets, we don't always have puppies available. Also because of the demand for the breeds we carry, when we do have puppies all the best ones are put on hold the day of birth.
So to better insure the puppies right placement and health we have a adoption process.
Below you will find the questions we would like answered before you can put a deposit down on a puppy, if there are no puppies adoptable at the time answering the questions before hand well get you on the first email notification list.
When no puppies are adoptable there is a notification email list you can request. The waiting list is as followed....
First list is sent out a pregnancy calender when we are expecting. Then they are sent photos of each puppy when they are born. They have 24 hours to decide if they would like to adopt one of the puppies.
Second list is sent out to Texas residents, with photos of the puppies. after the first list has been completed (ether everyone has responded or the next day). The Texas list gets 24 hours to decide if they would like to adopt a puppy.
Then the US list is sent out with photos of the puppies, and the puppies are posted online.
Now due to the young age the puppies are adopted out at we have another process.
First week of the puppies life the hold is free, we need to insure the health, and in some litters test for testing on the Imperial and Teacup genetics. then after all testing is complete we send out a notification for the deposits, you will have 24 hrs to complete a deposit. We also offer a one time free hold for 24hrs (or 3 days if sending a check). NO DEPOSITS ARE TAKEN TILL THE ADOPTION APPLICATION QEUSTIONS ON THIS PAGE ARE FILLED OUT, AND ACCEPTED.
We just want to make sure our babies go to great homes

Then if accepted we
will email you a contract which you well have to sign and
mail back.
After you are accepted
we will also email a invoice from paypal for the deposit.
Then the remainder is due when you pick your puppy up, or
two weeks before he or she is shipped.
We
do not deposits on the Parti yorkies or Ewoaks until 3 weeks of
age. They also wont go home until 12 weeks or older depending
on size. Teddys go home at 10 weeks (local pick up), and 12
weeks (out of state).
