We are happy to announce that we are foster parents of the HUMANE SOCIETY in Montgomery Tx, We can only take cats to insure the health of our dogs, but do encourage all kinds of adoptions, Please visit www.hsmc-tx.org if you can foster volunteer or adopt a pet.
On this
page you can watch our fosters grow up, and regain their health, as we
prepare them for adoption, please be advised that even though we try our
darnedest, we some times cannot save the animals, so watching them grow
may be painful if they do not make it. Also if interested in any of our
fosters please contact the humane society.
Please Note: We only take cats and keep them seperate from all
our dogs so there is no way it will effect the health of our dogs.
We just got five kittens and a mama! Survivors of hurricane IKE!
They are starved, dirty, and very very sick, lets pray they make it!
We have the medicine and have gave them baths, but that is all we can do for now, besides feed them and love them.
They are sooo starved we could not dry them, we were to afraid to break there bones and had to blow dry them with the lowest level.

| Unfortunately,
During their first night home one kitten has already passed, mom,
is still very sick but we have hopes for her, and two of the other
kittens are moving very slowly and very little, and one of them has
huge swollen back feet, we are hoping the other will get better.
But the good news is the other two are doing much better, one is even jumping around a little and playing! The
digestive system on these cats is shot, we can mend it a lot but
whoever get them will have to keep them on a healthy easy digestible
diet.

Well, we had three of the kittens
pass, the intestinal infections they had was to serous to save them, however
two kittens and the mom we have got in time, and they are getting better
every day, both kittens are playing and the mother is now letting us hold
her without screaming in pain.
Chubs, the mommy...
Chubs, is doing good, her infection is almost gone,
she still super skinny but were working on it.
She is also learning to become secure around humans,
we are even getting her to purr, and sit next to you.
Terri...
Terri still has the
tummy infection, and has eye infections,
but we have all the stuff he needs, and he is gaining wieght.
he should make it. his heels are better, he can walk and even run now,
and his voice has came back as well, he is a hungry little guy and lets
you know it!
Hope?
Here is hope "her?"
infection is allmost gone, she is still swollen in the back end that is
why were arent to sure if she is a girl or boy, her eyes are allmost better,
and she loves to play.
Oh no! Hope is a boy! 9-29-08
His back end is no longer swollen! he is the first to get well!
now we just have to worry about the weight, and a little eye wash every
day. WHAT ARE WE GOING TO NAME HIM?

We have only had these guys for a week
now,
every one said they would all die,
but we saved half of them,
it
just shows,
Never, Ever, Give Up!
They all are doing great, only terri has the tummy issues now, and not
that bad, the kittens eyes are a little hazy but almost healed up, becides
that they are all most ready to be adopted! I think about two more weeks
to just make sure.
Here's Mama! shes turning into a fattie! she'll let you pet her, and shell
pur but she still runs away from people, as far as health she is 100%
better!
Here is terri, his eye infections are allmost gone, he has amasing blue
eyes, he still has a bit of healing needed in his tail and belly, but
not much.
Here is lucky, he gets a little bit of due in his eyes but not much almost
ready to go to his new home!
Well thats about it for these guys, ill get a good by photo next week,
then after the pup's go to their new homes we'll get some more kitty cats
in need, we need to take a short break for training and other matters
to do with our new litter. but we'll be back on track saving lives soon
as possable!
